2. RT International's Southern Tabler's Meeting - STM 2010 in Cyprus from 25th to 28th  March'2010. Registration is 250 euro and 5star hotel on the beach at 45 euro double room per person incl breakfast ! Details attached herewith.

3. Here are the details for the RT Sweden Masstour from 7th to 13th May' 2010 their AGM in from 13th to 16th May' 2010, where you will get a chance to meet 1000 Tablers and Circlers at their AGM. More info available at www.rts.org/vikingtour and www.rm2010.se.

Thank you for your help in recommending Buddies for new Tables in cities like Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Vizag.

The Tables of Mumbai need our help for Internal Extension.  Many of us have friends in Mumbai - some of whom may be a good fit for Tabling.

·        Your spouse’s relatives, friends, work colleagues, etc

·        Your relatives (who live in other cities or whom you cannot take in your own Table)
Referrals will be tracked and there will be Area level and National recognition for Tablers and Tables who use BuddyMatch to recommend ‘Buddies’ who later become Tablers.

RTI World Meeting 2010‏

Welcome to the first email ‘ flash’ about the RTI2010 World Meeting that is being held in Dubai Sept 29th to Oct 3rd 2010.

The purpose of this email is to keep you up-to-date with the event so that you may communicate this to your Tablers, 41ers and Circlers.

Please could you distribute this if possible to your members?
May I say that I have been overwhelmed with the response so far and only hope that you and your Tablers are going to take advantage of this once in a lifetime chance to attend an RTI World Meeting and have a family holiday for a fantastic Joe Tabler price.
 
REMEMBER YOU NEED TO BOOK A ROOM TO GET A CONFERENCE ID
 
A)     I must inform you that the last date for the Early Bird Registration Price is Feb 28th.  After 12 midnight GMT the prices will increase to the normal level.  If you have registered but not paid, then unfortunately the price will also increase for you.  We cannot have the state of affairs whereby 400 people have registered but only 100 have paid!  Help us to make it better for you by paying early.  The prices list is as follows: ( you can only register with a conference ID) 
 
B)      The hotel bookings are going exceptionally well and the first 100 heavily discounted rooms are selling very fast!  Remember you will NEVER again find a 5 star resort in Dubai that is offering these prices.  Also do not forget that you can extend your stay by simply adding 100 AED onto whatever room you choose.  That includes both the hotel and the Spa!!  WOW.  The Palm Tree Court and Spa suites are awesome and are a 5 min walk from the hotel through lush palm trees.  The rates are:
 
c) The tours are ready to be
booked and we hope to have a booking form online by the end of February. 
As with the registration you will need to book using your CONFERENCE ID number
that will be given to you when you book the hotel.  There is also be a tour
time on the website so you may plan your time here to work and play J

Tshirts / Shirts for informal occasions.

3) Do keep RTI
Momentoes , Flags, etc on your office Table.

4) Do discuss informally
about Round Table and its activities with your business associates, Friends and
Relatives .

on your Office Envelopes and Business Cards ( with a message - "We support Round
Table India").

6) Use Round Table Car
stickers, Bus Back Stickers, etc.

7) Do keep RTI Brochures
at reception counters of your Office.

8) Do promote use of RTI id cards.

9) Most Importantly Feel
Proud to be a Tabler and find innovative ways to promote the
association.

doing excellent Publicity during last six months and especially on National
Publicity Day, we had an overwhelming response from various Tables. Thank you my
Friends and I shall seek more support from you.

Dear Friends,

At the outset, please accept warm greetings from your President (Elect).
As you all know, Ours is a Young organisation and very much transient in nature.

The Current National Board ,under the able leadership of President Himanshu, is doing a wonderful job. The new National Board will take over at the CoB at Bangalore on 10th July 2010.

The Process of forming the Tabling Team for 2010-11 has started. We requested the Area Chairmen to suggest names of Tablers who they feel have the potential to be part of the National Board. They were kind enough to suggest names. Few names we got through our various visits to the different tabling centres in different areas.

Currently we got a list of close to 100 tablers and it is very encouraging to see tablers coming forward to serve RTI.

To make the process more democratic and also in line with my belief that everything in RTI should be accessible and approachable to all  tablers and an equal opportunity should be given to all tablers , I hereby invite you to be part of the National Board for year 2010-11.

If you think, you have an urge to serve RTI by being member of Tabling Team at the National Board, and are committed to give your time,energy,skills,creativity and positive attitude, kindly send an email to me as a confirmation.

Do highlight your skills and strengths, which portfolio  you will be interested to work (give three preferences) and what are your commitments level. The list of current NEX portfolios are also attached.

We shall follow a transparent process of selection and based on evaluation and analysis of skill set and commitment, the best tabler for the concerned portfolio will be selected.

I can assure you that each and every member of the Tabling Team at the National Board will have enough freedom to work and will be supported and nurtured to enable achieving the vision and goals of RTI.

The last date to send in your email ,confirming your interest to work on the National Board, is 8th of March 2010.

IRO Round Table TUNISIA

Dear Friends,

Returned back yesterday after participating in a wonderful CTM meeting of RT International at Liege,Belgium. Wish to give you a brief highlight of our trip.

Participants: Sq. Leg Jitender Gupta & Tr. Jitendra Prasad from RT 118, Tr. Deepu Paul from RT 71 and yours truly.

CTM meeting and Gala Dinner - Liege - 27th February

    * The proceedings were conducted by RT Belgium President Tr. Stijn in the presence of EMA Chairman Tr. Daniel 'Tabasco' Forsberg.
    * VP RT Belgium Tr. Robby gave a presentation on their Extension Plan, which is to have 15 Tablers in each Table by the year 2015. Tablers were asked to get in prospectives keeping in mind the following: Keep the family involved / Give meaning to meetings / I know somebody/somewhere / upholding the RT image.
    * EMA Chairman Tr. Daniel spoke about Extensions to the following countries: Latvia, Spain and Georgia.

    * I was given an opportunity to give a presentation on FTE which was appreciated by all present there. Also invitedIRO RTBI Tr. Steve Lord to give his views on his association with our project.
    * The next CTM will be at Luxembourg.
    * EMA Chairman Tr. Daniel gave a presentation of the RT World Meet at Dubai, which led to a lot of debate on the high pricing of the event.
    * During lunch, we had the Banner Presentation wherein I exchanged President Himanshu's Banner with theirs as well as handed out RTI watches.
    * We were taken for a walking tour of Liege, which has the largest railway station in Europe and were made to climb almost 400 steps to have a view of the entire city. No complains at the end of the walk, as we were treated to varieties of cold beet and cheese. FYI, Belgium produces 150 varieties of Beer.
    * The evening dinner was a sit down 3 course dinner with a live band. Every participating country's national anthem was played and it came as a pleasant surprise to us when they played our national anthem too !!!

Had the pleasure of all of us being home-hosted by Tr. Stijn at his lovely farmhouse, an hour away from Liege. It was great on Stijn's part to make his father take us to two world heritage cities of Belgium - Ghent and Bruges on 28th and 1st.

RT Belgium Board Meeting - Brussels - 1st March

    * The National Board meets up on the 1st monday of every month to discuss plans for the month. Among other things that they discussed one thing that caught our attention was the 'widow fund'setting up of aWere invited to address and give our FTE presentation to the Board. They were amazed at the work done by us and posed quite a few questions.
    * The highlight of the meeting was when we were invited to apply for their "Golden Fleece Foundation" wherein upto 5000 euro is sanctioned to assist a country's community service project. This opportunity came our way thanks to our presentation but more importantly from the personal experience of President Stijn who has visited our schools recently. The funds would be handed out at RT International World Meet at Dubai.
    * Was carrying a couple of our Sergeants Band and handed them over to the 5 Area Chairmen as well as watches to 2 retiring National Board members.
    *  After the meeting, we were taken around Brussels and then finally ended up at a Tabler's house who home-hosted us for the night.

All of us are thrilled with this international Tabling experience which had a lot of warmth and great hospitality. It definitely was a pleasure to meet up with old friends and make new friends as well.

We invite you and every round tabler of India to Hungary, to take part in a great sport event in the summer of 2010!

The International Tabler Tennis Open has been organized since 2002, by the Hungarian RT-3, in Eger. All the tablers, their family members, and friends are widely welcome to this sport program.

The organizer RTH-3 offers Tabler Tennis Open not only for professionals but, for everyone who is interested in this sport. (or in drinking wine J) Traditionally this event runs at the same time as the Winefest of Eger, to guarantee the joy outside the tennis court as well. Because of this reason, every tabler will have a nice weekend, thanks to the cheerful programme full of quality wine, and to the populous international tabler crowd.

The most prestigious event of the Tabler Tennis Open is the Competition of the nations. In this category different nations' doubles are playing for the challenge-cup. We are looking for those doubles, who deputize their national Round Table organization on this event. More doubles can enter for this cup from one nation, but only one can win the final.

I would like to ask for your help to advertise this competition in your area, and see if some tablers would deputize India in the „Competition of the nations”.
